How To Draw A Lion

10 Amazing (and Easy!) Tutorials

Introduction

In order to learn how to draw a lion, I took help from a few YouTube tutorials. These videos helped me work on various types of lion drawings. I had the opportunity to learn about easy approaches, cartoonish styles, and even realistic art styles. By studying and practicing these lessons, I was able to perfect my lion drawings. If you’re having trouble with your drawings, I highly suggest you follow my approach, and study the same tutorials that I did.

A lion can be drawn in three simple steps. The first step is the drawing’s outline. In the next step, you need to work your way around the mane. Finally, you finish your drawing by adding necessary details. Before starting to draw, you should also have a clear idea as to what pose your lion will be in, like will it be sitting, walking, or just standing.
