Introduction
Despite being one of the easiest animals to draw, I remember I would still have to struggle while drawing an elephant. That was mostly because I didn't know how I should proceed with the drawing, and what steps I should take. Recently, I decided to try drawing the elephant once again for a project I was working on. This time, however, I wanted to go into it well prepared. So, I began going through some YouTube tutorials on how to draw an elephant, and soon enough, I was able to draw this magnificent animal flawlessly. If you're having trouble with your elephant drawings, I recommend you do what I did, and try out some of these helpful tutorials.
To draw an elephant, you first start with its head, and then the body. Once the base outlines are done, you start working on the little details. Most of the elements need to be arranged on the animal’s head, like its trunk, tusks, eyes, and ears. After you’re done with them, the rest of the body is pretty simple to draw, and will take only a few minutes to be completed.

The drawing seen in this video looks similar to the ones you’ll find in kids’ coloring books. The design is quite simple, and very adorable. The drawing process is also quite easy, and won’t take much time. Kids can watch the video a couple of times, and get started on the drawing. The elephant has a cute look to it, courtesy of those nicely drawn eyes. If you want, you could even complete the drawing on your own, and hand it out to your kids so that they can color it.

Simple Way to Draw a Realistic Looking Elephant
This drawing is the basic structure of how an elephant should look. It’s not that detailed, but still has all the elements that makes a drawing look realistic. The proportions are very accurately done, and that’s what makes this drawing look lifelike. I would’ve preferred a bit more effort on the shading, but given that it’s a tutorial for beginners, I think this works just fine.

The video focuses on a very simple line drawing of an elephant. It’s a tutorial made for kids, and doesn’t have any difficult step involved in it. In fact, you could even finish this drawing in a one-stroke style. The drawing could’ve been a lot better if the proportions were a bit accurate. See if you can apply a bit of your creativity to make this drawing look more attractive.

In this video tutorial, the artist will show you how to draw a cartoon baby elephant. It’s a chubby drawing of an elephant in a cartoonish style. The details here aren’t plenty, but it’s still quite a nice drawing. Kid will love drawing this. The art style is quite similar to the ones they’re used to coloring in their drawing books.

This is one of the coolest elephant drawings I’ve ever laid my eyes on. It’s very accurate, and quite professionally done. I find this design to be perfect for a large sized tattoo, probably on someone’s arms or thighs. The tutorial is very easy to follow, but the drawing itself is a difficult piece to work on, and not everyone can bring out the sharp and bold look in the drawing. Hence, I recommend you get some practice done before you start working on this artwork.

In this step by step elephant drawing tutorial for kids, the artist will show you how you can draw an elephant by using basic shapes and lines. The steps are very basic, and extremely easy to follow. All you have to do is draw a bunch of shapes, one over the other, and you’re done. It’s just that easy.

This elephant drawing tutorial is very detailed. The artist explains the procedure, step by step, and leaves nothing to the viewer’s imagination. You can learn a lot about line art in general by watching this video. It’s not a very detailed drawing, but it’s more than enough for beginners, if you ask me. This is one of the few videos that I’ll actually urge you to watch, so that you can develop as an artist.

Dumbo is a popular cartoon character with its own animated movie. In fact, just recently Dumbo got a live action adaptation. It’s quite popular among kids, and there’s no doubt that they’d love to draw this character. This video tutorial will show you how to draw Dumbo the elephant in an easy manner. It’s a simple tutorial, and perfect for kids of all ages.

If you’re looking to draw something simple with an elephant theme, this is the drawing you’re looking for. It’s easy, and doesn’t require much work. Study the tutorial to understand how you can manage to draw this silhouette without making a mess out of it.

This is by far the most amazing, as well as the hardest elephant sketch I’ve ever seen. It’s a difficult artwork to pull off, and hence, I recommend you try this only if you’re confident about your sketching skills. The shading, the lights, the composition, everything about this artwork is perfect. Take your time while watching this video. Even if you fail to replicate the drawing, you’ll still be able to learn a lot.
