Lighthouses are some of the most staggering structures you’ll ever see. There’s this pride and strength in its presence that you can’t help but admire. I too admire these mighty structures and the role they play at sea. Which is why I felt like painting them. Of course, I needed a bit of help in painting lighthouses, which is why I helped myself to some amazing tutorials on how to paint a lighthouse.
To paint a lighthouse, you first start with a background, and then decide on the time of the day. Next, you prepare your setting, and then work on the building itself. Afterwards, you can go on to add other elements in your painting, like houses or trees or anything else that you find necessary. Finally, you finish things off by adding necessary details.
For those of you who’re new to acrylics, or painting in general, this could be the ideal painting for you to get started. It’s simple, easy, and won’t take much of your time. You can get started with this tutorial and painting without any prior experience. The painting lacks shades and lighting effects, and also doesn’t bother much with the details. All this makes it the perfect painting for beginners to work on.
Just because you’re a beginner doesn’t mean that you’ll always have to settle for artworks that don’t have much to offer in terms of quality. You can always work on paintings that are both easy, and are quite nice to look at. This tutorial focuses on one such painting. Again, not much in terms of details, but the artwork has this subtle appeal to itself that beginners can easily replicate with a bit of effort.
Feliks is one of my favorite artists on YouTube, and this painting of his is just one of the many reasons why. This stunning lighthouse painting of his is a masterpiece. Not only does it have some amazing work in shade and details, but it also has this robust appeal to itself. I love everything about this painting, especially the way he painted the sky. If you’re experienced with acrylics, this is something you should try out.
This video will show you a beautiful lighthouse painting demonstration in acrylics, It’s a compact painting, with a lot of elements jam packed in one corner of the canvas. This is a self-explanatory demonstration, and is meant to be followed by advanced level artists and learners. If you want, you can add your own creativity to this painting, and make a few changes or additions here and there.
This painting is the best example of how artworks need not be complicated to be deemed as amazing. In fact, simple artworks like this one are just as beautiful. This demonstration is perfect for new learners and artists. It’s a demonstration video, and you won’t get much help in terms of what’s going on. But the video is pretty self-explanatory, and you won’t face any problem in understanding the steps and the overall approach.
The artist in this tutorial just plays with the colors to create this painting. It’s a simple artwork, where the colors have been applied in a single layer. The shades are nice, but the blending isn’t perfect. But given how it’s a tutorial for beginners, this artwork is perfect in its own way. If you want, you could try and blend the shades. That would make it look a bit more appealing.
This video tutorial will show you how to paint a lighthouse with realistic waves. It’s amazing how the artist managed to create something so lifelike with just acrylics. The details in this painting aren’t that great. But it’s the way those waves have been colored that makes the artwork look so realistic.
In this video tutorial, you’ll get a good idea on how to paint a lighthouse using watercolors. The scene in this artwork is a rough sea, with clouds covering up the sky. The way the color has been used to show the lighting is absolutely brilliant. It’s quite remarkable how easily something like this can be achieved with the right technique.
Painting need not be difficult or complicated. It can be fun too. This painting isn’t a masterpiece, or a realistic artwork. But it is quite nice to look it. It’s one of those old school artworks with a deep pencil drawing, and watercolor painting. I actually like this style, and I have a feeling that you’re going to like it as well. Give this painting a try. It won’t be difficult at all.
If you’re fond of playing with acrylics, this is the perfect painting for you to work on. The shades in this artwork are basically rough patterns. The color is just thrown here and there to give the painting a rough outlook. Of course, despite this, and the lack of details, this painting is quite lovely. As a beginner, you’ll enjoy painting this piece very much.
