Introduction
I’ve long passed the age of painting birds with the simple ‘V’ drawn across the horizon. Right now, I’m focused on painting actual birds, with all their appropriate features. Of course, given how I never painted them before, I got a bit nervous, and I’m sure many of you face the same problem. That’s when I decided to do this the only way I know, and that’s by going through a bunch of YouTube videos on how to paint birds.
There are three ways to paint birds. There’s the easy way for beginners, where you won’t need to focus much on the details. Then there’s the intermediate way for slightly advanced learners. Finally, there’s the advanced way, where you need to focus on the coloring, shading, detailing, and all other aspects of your painting.

In this video tutorial, you’ll get to see how to paint a simple titmouse using watercolors. The coloring, although not perfect, is quite neatly done. This painting lacks details, but makes up for it with this subtle coloring. The overall approach for this painting is very simple and straightforward, making it perfect for beginners to work on.
