How To Paint Trees With A Fan Brush

10 Amazing (and Easy!) Tutorials

Introduction

Compared to your usual paint brushes, a fan brush is lightly bigger, and covers a larger area. These brushes are mostly used for make-up, but can also be used to paint as well. What I personally like about using a fan brush is how it can give your coloring a distinct pattern, which is why I mostly use it to paint trees. Painting trees with a fan brush allows me to create realistic looking trees in a very short period of time. This is something that I learnt over on YouTube, and if you too would like to avail this amazing service of a fan brush, I recommend you give these tutorials a try as well.

To paint trees with a fan brush, you need to follow a simple two step procedure. Firstly, you have to decide on the shape and structure of your tree. That way, you can make up your mind on whether you want to use a fan brush or not. Then, you pick a fan brush according to the size of your tree. Usually, a small to medium sized brush can be used to get the job done. But if your canvas is a bit bigger in size (let’s say over 3x3 feet), you need to get a bigger brush. Once you’ve arranged all that, it’s time to get painting.
