Drawing a book is pretty easy. You choose a viewpoint, and then decide how many surfaces you want to show. I usually show the front cover and the side view, that is the pages. And if you would like, you can check out the way I draw a book. It is easy to follow, and barely any inconvenience.

Start with the basic shapes. Separate the cover from the pages. Mark the cover and outline the pages. And then color. There you go, your book drawing is ready.

Start with a rectangle

Draw a rectangle, keep it flat on the paper. You can make the edges of your rectangle round.

Add the height

This part will act as the binding of the book.

Now the other side

Keep the height same from all sides and angles.

Add the bottom part

Do a double outline on the bottom to make it look as if it were the back cover of the book.

Mark the pages

Run horizontal lines through the front side to make it look as if they were the pages of the book.

Add some labels

Keep the square or rectangular.

Some more labels

Keep it coming.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil for this.

Color it

Use some light colors for it.
