How to Draw A Dalmatian Step by Step

I love Dalmatians. They are some of my most favorite dog breeds. I love their unique physique, their patterns, and of course, the overall classy vibe they give off. I also enjoy drawing these dogs, and I bet you too enjoy the same. Of course, I can understand if you face troubles drawing them. After all, it is not every day that you come across a Dalmatian in your neighborhood. Thus, it becomes hard to picture them. So to help you out, I have developed my own approach to drawing these dogs. And with a bit of patience, you can draw them with ease too if you stick to the basics like I do in my Dalmatian drawing tutorial.

Start with the head. Then the body and legs. Do the classic Dalmatian patterns, and you are done.

Start with the head

Keep it small.

Then the eyes

Draw the nose and mouth too.

Work on the body

Do the back first.

Now the legs

They are long and thin.

Keep going

So far so good.

Now the tail

It can be small but thin.

Start drawing the patterns

Just some spots around the body.

Keep going

Continue with the spots

And some more

Do not stop.

Almost there

Just a little more.

Last few touches

Get a dark pencil for this.

Now color

The drawing is ready. Now you just have to color it.
