Drawing a garden can seem difficult. After all, it is a complete scenery of a landscape that includes a lot of different elements. But that does not mean this artwork needs to be difficult. In fact, it is much easier than you think. If you are wondering how to draw a garden in a simple and stepwise manner, you can check out the steps I follow to draw my gardens.

To draw a garden, we start with the landscape first, then the sky. We add some grass, a tree, and a few hills in the distance. Then we draw some fluffy clouds in the sky. Once the drawing is done, we carefully color the entire thing to give it a natural and striking look.

Draw a box

The box acts as the boundary or frame of our drawing.

Add some grass

Draw the grass in the bottom corners.

Add a hill with a trail

Keep the hill big, and the trail a bit narrow near the top.

Draw some bushes

Add a few bushes on top of the hill in the distant.

Draw clouds

Cover the sky with some fluffy clouds.

Draw a tree

Start with the trunk.

Finish the tree

Complete the tree by adding the leaves and branches.

Add a few flowers

Draw the flowers in the grasses you drew earlier.

Give it some life

Add a few butterflies and birds to your drawing.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to give the drawing a bold and sharp look.

Coloring time

Carefully color the garden. Make it look as beautiful as you can.
