How to Draw A Haunted House Step by Step

Step by Step Guide

A haunted house is just like any other house, except for the fact that it has some horror elements in it. Hence, for making an ordinary house look haunted, you simply need to insert these horror elements proportionately. And in case you do not know how you can do that, you can follow my haunted house drawing approach and draw yours.

To draw a haunted house, we first draw a normal looking house, and then add some horror elements to it. These horror elements can be ghosts, bats, a full moon, tombstones, etc. Once that is done, we simply need to color our drawing, and we will be done.

Let us begin

Draw the outline of your haunted house.

Add a door

The door is on the right side of the house.

Add a shade

Draw a shade over the door.

Add some steps

The steps lead to the front door of the house.

Add a second floor

It looks sort of like a clock tower.

Add the other sections

Extend the second floor of the house.

Draw the other part

Extend on the other side now.

It needs windows

Do not forget to add windows to the second floor.

Darken the outline

Use a sharp pencil to work out the outlines.

Let’s make it spooky

Add a few ghosts around the house.

Some more scary elements

Draw a big moon in the background with bats flying around.

Add some details

Add some crater lines on the moon.

Final touches

Almost done. Just add the last few touches.

Coloring time

Use your colors to give the haunted house an eerie vibe to it.
