How to Draw A Husky Step by Step

I love huskies. They are my favorite breed of dogs. I love how big and fluffy the look. Given my love for huskies, I have always tried drawing them. To my dismay, however, I could not generate that cute appeal in my artworks. But I did not give up. I practiced drawing huskies and eventually got better at it. I even came up with my own husky drawing technique that is ideal for beginners. If you want to draw huskies but do not know where to start, you can follow my approach and replicate my steps to draw a husky.

To draw a husky, you start with its head. Then, you move to the ears and other facial features. Afterwards, you get to the body and legs and the tail. Once you are done with the main drawing, you can then work on the details and then color the artwork.

Start with the head

Draw the head in the shape of a diamond with blunt edges.

Mark the face

A curvy line across the forehead will help you mark the face.

Add ears

Keep the ears pointy and pyramid shaped.

Now the tongue and nose

The nose is slightly oval and the tongue is sticking out of the mouth.

Start drawing the body

Use a light pencil to draw the outline.

Draw the other side

The right legs are slightly visible now.

Now the eyes and tail

The eyes are oval and the tail is curled up.

Finishing touches

Use a dark pencil to draw the final outlines.

Coloring time

The husky is ready. Time to color it now.
