How to Draw A Kiss Step by Step

A kiss needs to be drawn very gently, and with a subtle yet appealing vibe to it. It needs to be smooth and have a satisfying look in it. All this sounds too confusing for you to put into a single drawing? Well do not worry, because if you are unsure as to how you can incorporate all this in your kiss drawing, you can follow my approach and replicate the steps I follow to do this art piece.

To draw a kiss, I start with the bottom lip and then work on the upper one. I leave some marks on the lips to give it some depth. Once all the details have been added, I then start coloring the drawing.

Start with the lower lip

Draw the bottom outline like the bottom of a boat.

Do its top

Finish drawing the bottom lip.

Draw the upper lip

Use a light pencil to draw the upper lip now.

Add a fold

Show the upper lip folded into the mouth.

Draw some marks

Draw a few stretch marks on the lower lip.

Add details to the upper part

Use a light pencil to add these details.

Add some text

Write ‘KISS’ on the left side of the paper.

Now on the right

Write it again, but this time on the right side.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to add the final details.

Color it

Give your kissy lips a beautiful shade of red.
