How to Draw A Pig Step by Step

The pig is a very easy animal to draw. You barely need to get its head right, and the rest of the drawing will automatically fall in place. But as easy as it seems, I know that many of you still struggle with your pig drawings, especially the nose and ears. But do not fear, for with the technique I will show you, you can draw a pig quite easily.

Start with the head, keep it simple and shaped like a peach or mango. Add the facial features, and then draw the body. Work out the legs and details, and the tail. Finally, get to the coloring part, and your pig drawing is ready.

Start with the head

Use a light pencil to draw the mango shaped head.

Add ears

Draw the ears in the shape of a leaf.

Now the body

Keep it a bit bulky and oval shaped.

Add the legs

The legs are small, wide near the thighs and narrow at the bottom.

Place the hooves

Keep them small and shaped like small bowls.

Do the eyes next

The eyes are drawn round.

Next the mouth

Just put a smile on the face of the pig.

Time for the tail

Use a light pencil to draw the curvy tail.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to do the last touches.

Color it

Give the pig a lovely pink color.
