To draw a sugar skull, draw the skull first. Then, carefully and neatly add the designs. You can get creative with it as you want. Finally, use some bright colors to complete the artwork.

Start with the skull

The skull is the core part of the drawing. So let us draw that first. Start with the outline.

Now the teeth

Keep it even while drawing the teeth.

Now the nose cavity

It is like an upside down heart shape that is slightly compressed.

Next the eyes

Give the skull a pair of round eye sockets.

Begin the designs

Time to get started on the designs.

Add some flowers

Draw them around the eyes.

Now the bottom

Do some curvy designing on the jaw.

Now around the nose

Keep things as creative as you can.

Almost there

Just add a few more designs.

Darken the drawing

Use a sharp pencil to give the artwork a fine finish.

Coloring time

Carefully color all the designs, and your sugar skull is ready.
