I always wanted to learn how to draw a sunset when I was little. This particular time of the day always felt so serene to me. To draw a sunset, you first set up a perimeter for your setting sun. Then, you add the rest of the details below it, while the sun stays above the perimeter. It is all about the coloring which is why you have to include a few shades to make it look realistic.

Draw a line

Start with a horizontal line.

Add a few waves

This will act as the reflection.

Draw it to your right.

Place the sun

It is submerged with only half of it visible.

Show it flying over the sun.

Keep it simple. Only a small V like shape will do.

Use a sharp pencil for this.
