As far as trees go, the oak tree is quite easy to draw. If you want to draw an oak tree, you do not have to put in much effort. Of course, I can understand how some of you might still have trouble drawing them. After all, it is easier said than done. So for all you guys, I have come up with an easy and step by step approach on how to draw oak trees. It is simple and perfect for beginners.

Start from the too with the leaves and foliage. Do the branches next. Afterwards, move on to the trunk and finally the roots. Color gently, and you are done.

Start from the top

Draw some bushy leaves.

Add some more

Keep drawing the bushes.

Cover some more area

Surround the top part with these bushes.

Now the bottom

Draw some more bushes on the lower side.

Start drawing the branches

Draw a couple of branches on the left side first.

Now the trunk

It is not too long. But it is a bit thick.

Darken the trunk

Use a dark pencil to darken the outline of the trunk.

Add oaks

Draw some small oaks.

And a few more

Keep the oaks coming.

A few more around the bushes

Make it look as realistic as you can.

Finishing touches

You are almost done.

Coloring time

The drawing is done. Time to color the oak tree.
