How to Draw Darth Vader Step by Step

Step by Step Guide

Darth Vader is one of the most popular characters in pop culture. Many kids want to draw him. It is not really the easiest things to draw, but I am glad you guys are trying so hard. So to help you out, I decided to come up with my own approach to drawing Darth Vader. And I have managed to work out a simple and easy approach to drawing the character, something I will show you here.

Work out the head and helmet first. Follow it up with the body and cape. Then add the hands and legs, and of course, the light saber. Finally, color.

Start from the top

Draw the head first.

Add the helmet

Put the helmet on top of the head.

Now the eyes

Make room for the eyes.

Start drawing the cape

For now, draw just the left side of it.

Add an arm

Do the arm on the left side of your paper.

Next a light saber

Show the arm holding the light saber. Draw another hand holding the top part of the basal.

Rest of the cape

Now we will draw the other side of the cape.

Sketch the legs

Two long legs are drawn that are a bit hidden because of the cape.

Add the boots

Show him wearing a pair of boots.

Some minor details

Use a light pencil to sketch some small details and designs.

Work out the designs

Continue with the designs.

So far so good

Keep going, you are almost done.

Finishing touches

Use a dark pencil to add the final touches.

Now we color

Time to color your Darth Vader drawing.
